GATEWAY is an enrichment program for gifted and academically talented children. The purpose of GATEWAY is to motivate and challenge able learners. Students are provided opportunities to develop and apply skills in scientific process, creative thinking, critical thinking and reasoning. Students also receive instruction in research methods, decision-making, problem solving strategies and leadership education.
Breakout EDU is a new learning tool that is made of ultra-engaging learning games for people of all ages. Games (Breakouts) teach teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting by presenting students with challenges that ignite their natural drive to problem-solve.
Breakouts can be used to teach core academic subjects including math, science, history, language arts and have embedded standards that apply problem solving strategies within a real world OR collaborative context. To "breakout" students must solve clues and master a collection of locks, hidden contraptions, timers, keys, and other diversion hardware.
